About Daniel
Dan Niles is the founder and portfolio manager of the Satori Fund. The Satori fund is an equity long/short fund which he has run since March of 2004. Prior to his career as a money manager, Mr. Niles was a sell-side semiconductor and computer hardware research analyst for ten years with Robertson, Stephens, and then Lehman Brothers. He has received awards for stock picking from the Wall Street Journal in the categories of computer peripherals, computer hardware and PCs, and semiconductors. Mr. Niles received a Bachelor of science in systems engineering from Boston University and a Master of science in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
