Karen Khalil

Karen Khalil is the head of retail distribution for Blackrock Asset Management Canada Limited where she oversees the teams that support the sale of iShares and RBC exchange traded funds across all wealth channels. Prior to joining BlackRock, Karen worked at Vanguard Investments Canada Limited where she was head of institutional sales. In this role, she was responsible for the strategic development and distribution of retirement solutions to institutional clients. Over the 6.5 years at Vanguard, Karen held other senior roles focused on the firm's financial advisory business. Prior to Karen's tenure at Vanguard, she was head of wholesale distribution at UBS Global Asset Management and vice president of sales at HSBC Global Asset Management. Karen holds an MBA from Drexel University and completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University, earning a BA in economics.
