A surge in inventories during the last six months of 2021 followed by a purge of those inventories during the first six months of this year does not make a recession in my book, states Lawrence Fuller of Fuller Asset Management.

Join Lawrence Fuller where he will focus on the reasons he sees a soft landing as still plausible in 2023, as well as an investment theme for stocks, bonds, and commodities that he expect to outperform, along with an actionable idea in each asset class.
Lawrence will discuss the importance of tactical asset management and strategies that he thinks will help portfolios perform during what could be a lost decade ahead, as monetary policy gradually normalizes, and the economy and markets are forced to stand on their own two feet. Investors should prepare for an extended period of slower growth and a higher rate of inflation than we have seen over the past decade with bouts of stagflation.
In this session, Lawrence Fuller will discuss the All-Weather approach to portfolio management made famous by Ray Dalio at Bridgewater Associates, which he finds ideal for the current market environment, as well as the tactical modifications that he has made to this strategy, which he believes enhances its ability to perform well in all market environments.
Additionally, Lawrence will do a deep dive into his largest individual stock holding, which is Gannett (GCI), and explain why he thinks it has upside of six to eight times its present value over the coming two to three-year period.
