Alan M. Newman, founder and editor of Crosscurrents Publications, was born on June 24, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. He has been married for 50 years to Dr. Alina Newman, who holds a Doctoral degree in Literacy. Their two adult sons are Eagle Scouts, and one holds a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the NY Bar. Mr. Newman has formerly enjoyed careers in acting, computer programming, game design, and real estate, and currently resides in Boynton Beach, FL.
