About Eric
Eric Saderholm is the co-founder, managing director of exploration, and director of American Pacific Mining Corp. (CSE: USGD) (OTCQX: USGDF). Mr. Saderholm is a professional senior geologist and former exploration manager for Newmont in the Western USA. He has over 40 years of industry experience, holding leadership roles in exploration, project development, property management, and mining.
He spent 15 years at Newmont, holding positions as chief geologist at the Phoenix Mine, Lone Tree Complex, and Mule Canyon Mine, ending his tenure there as Carlin Trend Exploration Manager, Regional Geologist. Past credentials include working on large mines/projects including Bingham Canyon, Carlin, Midas, Gold Quarry, Twin Creeks, Lonetree, Mule Canyon, Black Pine, Genesis, and Yanacocha, playing an integral role on geologic teams that added millions of ounces of gold to reserve bases in Nevada, Washington, and Peru, serving as VP of Project Development at US Gold (August 2006 – early 2008) and president of Western Pacific Resources from its inception (June 2009 – July 2015).
Mr. Saderholm served as President of American Pacific from the Company’s founding in 2017 until July 2023. He then moved into a newly created management role to focus solely on American Pacific’s project development and advancement.
As an industry expert, Mr. Saderholm has been featured in both the business and trade press. His media interviews include Benzinga, Bloomberg, The Northern Miner, The Mining Journal (UK), S&P Global Platts and S&P Global Market Intelligence, The Globe and Mail, Mining The West, American Recycler, Northern News Network Radio, Kitco News, and Mining Weekly, among others.
For his pivotal role in American Pacific’s growth and success, he was nominated for a Resourcing Tomorrow Outstanding Achievement Award in 2023.
